ANNOUNCEMENTS
CLEAR LAKE BOYS BASKETBALL 2026-2027 Fall/Winter SEASON
Registration is open now through Oct. 12, 2026 for players!
This is competitive basketball—players will be challenged, coached and pushed to compete at a higher level every time they step on the court.
Because our access to gym space is limited, we do have to limit the number of players in the league, so we encourage you to sign up your child promptly. Registration ends on Oct. 12, 2026. Registration this year will be $295. Those who register early will be eligible for a complimentary three-hour basketball clinic to help prepare players for the upcoming season. Space will be limited!!!
There are two divisions. The 9U/10U Division, which will consist of third and fourth graders and the 11U/12U Division will consist of fifth and sixth graders. If openings are available in either division, the league reserves the right to invite individual players to participate in an older age division when, in the league’s judgment, their skill level and maturity make them well-suited for the increased level of competition. These opportunities will be considered on an individual basis.
Because Clear Lake Boys Basketball is a competitive league, players will be evaluated to ensure they are prepared for the level of play. The League and Board of Directors reserve the right to determine appropriate placement and, when necessary, whether participation in the league is in the best interest of the player and the league. Registration does not guarantee placement.
Teams are formed by a draft after a mandatory evaluation session. The evaluations will take place Oct. 19 and 20. Times and details to come. If your player cannot make these dates, please email the league for details on a makeup evaluation.

CLBB Volunteers
Our goal is for everyone to have a positive experience playing CLBB. Please let us know if you have any ideas to improve CLBB. All input will be appreciated and considered. Even better, donate your time and VOLUNTEER! From Board members to coaches and timekeepers, CLBB has thrived on the strength of its volunteers.
We have had wonderful support from the community for over 30 years and would like to continue this tradition with your help. For more information and if interested, email president@clearlakeboysbasketball.org.
CLBB Scorekeeping
CLBB is hiring high school young men and women to help with keeping score at CLBB games for all the divisions (3rd-12th Grade). This is a fun way to earn money and help your community. Scorekeepers are responsible for working the scorebook, not the clock. The pay starts at $8.00/per game.
The following criteria must be met to be eligible:
1. High school student who would be zoned to attend Space Center, Clear Lake, Seabrook or Westbrook Intermediate school.
2. Available on Saturdays and some weeknights.
3. Attend a meeting/training session.
There are limited Scorekeeper positions available. If you are interested in becoming a CLBB Scorekeeper, please fill out the application and email it to president@clearlakeboysbasketball.org. You may also bring your application to a tryout session or give it to a CLBB Board Member.
Please contact Marla Schmidt at president@clearlakeboysbasketball.org if you have any questions.
