Welcome to Clear Lake Boys Basketball

The 2016 Clear Lake Boys Basketball Season is upon us.  The CLBB Board wishes a welcome to all new players to the league and thank you to our returning players – thank you all for your support of CLBB.  Our youngest playing division is our Junior 9’s and is for players who will be 9 years old as of 7/31/2016 – normally 3rd graders - and our eligibility requirements are that boys who are zoned to either attend or eventually attend clear Lake, Seabrook, Space Center or Westbrook Intermediate schools.  We accept new players into the league as space is available, but playing in the league is not guaranteed and is based on player’s skill level and the number of available spots in each division.
The 2016 Season registration will open on September 18, 2015.  The registration fee for our Junior and Major Divisions (playing ages 9 – 12) will be $250.00 and includes a jersey.  For our Senior and Pro divisions (7th – 12th grade) - $230.00 without a jersey but a reversible black/white jersey can be purchased if needed.  Player registration for our Junior and Major Divisions will close Saturday 11/7.  Returning players must be registered and paid by 11/4 to guarantee their returning player status for the current season.
New Player tryouts for our Junior and Major divisions will be held either Wednesday November 4th or Saturday November 7th at the Clear Lake Recreation Center gym – please check the website for specific times for your division.
The Junior/Major Divisions coaches will have evaluations for returning players who have registered by the deadline and new players to the league on Wednesday November 11th and Saturday November 14th at St. Bernadettes Catholic gym – Each Division VP will assign tryout times for their divisions.
The Senior and Pro Divisions tryouts will be the first week of December so watch for additional details by email and to the website as we get closer to December.
The 2015 CLBB Regular Season was a great success due to all the support of the CLBB Board Members, Coaches, Parents, Fans and Players.  CCISD has been very accommodating to us and we had only 1 partial cancellation the entire season.  We have not had to utilize elementary school gyms and we have been able to use the Clear Lake Rec Center and St. Bernadette’s gyms more this year than in previous years.   Thank You All from the CLBB Board!!

Our goal is for all to have a positive experience playing CLBB..  Please let us know if you have ideas to make CLBB better.  We have had wonderful support from the community for over 30 years and would like to continue this tradition with your help and support.  All input will be appreciated and considered.
