2017 - 2nd Season - 7th - 12th Graders

CLBB has decided to have a second season this year and registration is open.

Second Season basketball is primarily for 7th through 12th Graders who have played School Team Basketball and will/are attending Clear Lake High, Clear Brook, or Clear Falls High Schools.  Non-school players are also eligible to register and will be considered for placement on a roster on a space available basis.  We plan on having 8 teams each of 7th – 9th and 10th – 12th graders playing 12 games in during weeknights and Saturdays in April and May.  This is a post-season league, designed for all games, with no practices.  A season ending tournament will be played for all teams and awards to the winning and runner-up teams will be given.

2017 Season - Junior and Major0 Divisions – Playing ages 9 - 12

The 2017 Clear Lake Boys Basketball Season is upon us.  The CLBB Board wishes a welcome to all new players to the league and a big thank you to our returning players – thank you all for your support of CLBB.  Our youngest playing division is our Junior 9’s and is for players who will be 9 years old as of 7/31/2017 – normally 3rd graders - and our eligibility requirements are that boys who are zoned to either attend or eventually attend Clear Lake, Seabrook, Space Center or Westbrook Intermediate schools.  We accept new players into the league as space is available, but playing in the league is not guaranteed and is based on player’s skill level and the number of available spots in each division.

New Player tryouts for our Junior and Major divisions will be held at St. Bernadette’s gym – new players must attend a new players tryout to be considered eligible to play in the regular season.  Tryouts are Wednesday November 9th from 6:30 – 8:00 PM or Monday November 14th from 6:30 – 8:00 PM.

The Junior/Major Divisions coaches will have evaluations for returning players who have registered by the deadline and new players to the league on Wednesday November 16th and Saturday November 19th at St. Bernadettes Catholic gym – Each Division VP will assign tryout times for their divisions.  Draft of teams will be held Sunday November 20th.

2017 Senior and Pro Divisions – 7th – 12th Graders not playing on a School Team

The 2017 for these divisions will not begin until February due to limited gym space.  The CLBB Board is working to having a full season for these divisions starting in late February and will have updated information to players and parents in January.

The Senior Division – 7th – 9th graders – teams have been formed and practices/games set – but there is still space for additional players – so if you have a player who would like to play, have them register and we will contact them and place them on a team.

CLBB Scorekeeping

CLBB is hiring high school young men and women to help with keeping score at CLBB games for the younger age groups. This is a fun way to earn money and help your community. Scorekeepers are responsible for working the scorebook, not the clock. They pay starts at $8.00/per game worked.

The following criteria must be met to be eligible:
1. High school student who would be zoned to attend Space Center, Clear Lake, Seabrook or Westbrook Intermediate school.
2. Available on Saturdays and some weeknights;
3. Attend a meeting/training session.

There are limited Scorekeeper positions available and if you are interested in becoming a CLBB Scorekeeper, please fill out the application and email it to
You may also bring your application to a tryout session or give to a CLBB Board Member.
